A well know actress speaks in a sultry voice the one thing that intrigues us more than anything else - secrets.
"This is the best kept secret in the Universe .........." she says, as images of the Stargate cascade across the screen.
I offer you this observation - deep down, the human race wants there to be Stargates to other worlds and Universes.
We want to be able to step off this world and onto another, and we want to do it now.
For thousands of years, the Stars have draw our intellects towards the heavens, filling our souls with poetry and questions.
There must be more to this existence than the daily grind.
There must be more for us to do besides grow fat and die.
And the more we learn, the more we realize how little we actually know.
Give me a Stargate any day, and let me step through.
